I thought peplums and I broke up. I guess not. I also thought I was fully over statement necklaces. Wrong again. There’s something about this burgundy lace peplum top that feels incredibly fresh paired with high-waisted wide-leg trousers. The comfy, sleek fit and slit in the back were the finishing touches that sealed the deal for me, and I think it will be best reworn for the holiday party circuit. The neutral-hued jewels of this geometric statement necklace make it not only the best bit of festive sparkle to add to any ensemble this time of year, but also make sure I’ll be eager to wear it after the holidays.
Since I have officially rekindled the flame with peplums and statement necklaces, maybe I must keep revisiting past favorites… maybe white eye-liner and puka shells next? ; )
