Spring print mix

Today’s the second look in the three-part spring series I’m doing with my buddies over at Boden!  Nothing feels much more like springtime than bright colors as well as a bit mixed print action, as well as this look certainly checks all of those boxes.

As you may have guessed from this post featuring three different methods to style the traditional striped tee, I wear these suckers all year round like CRAZY.  Because of this, my wardrobe was in determined requirement of a fresh version, as well as this striped charm from Boden may have just nudged my previous preferred out of the very first location setting in the lineup of striped tees gracing my closet.  With the ideal boatneck that’s reinforced with grosgrain ribbon so it won’t stretch out after one wash, this classic tee has that ideal not as well heavy, however not as well lightweight material that can go from laid-back Friday at the office to weekend without a hiccup.

As for the skirt, I’m typically a sucker for anything periwinkle or navy blue, so this print naturally had me frothing at the mouth.  It also comes in three other swoon-worthy prints, in addition to small as well as tall options (like many of Boden’s clothing) which is a overall game changer for those of us with #tallgirlproblems.  I also have to state that the a-line silhouette of this charm is a refreshing alternate to the common pencil skirt cut which dominates my arsenal of office-ready skirts.

Mmmmk are we prepared to talk about the flats?  I mean… scalloped edges?  pointed toe?  six ideal color options?  I would have been prepared to experience with unreasonable levels of pain just to wear these cuties, however it just so occurs that they were SUPER comfortable best off the bat.  What else can I say?  They’re not leaving my feet.

Stay tuned for the third look on Monday as well as my three life-saving styling tricks for transitional dressing this spring as well as summer.  In the meantime, have a fantastic weekend!
